Fourth of July is Independence Day! Independence Day honors the birthday of the United States of America and the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. It's a day of picnics and patriotic parades, a night of concerts and fireworks, and a reason to fly the American flag.

Billy D's has been booked and sealed
You wanted 'em you got 'em - Billy D's August 8th!!Back by popular demand IRIS will be playing Billy D's August 8th. There will be a few surprises such as a b-day party for one of the band members (not saying who) and a return party for Tim.
For now IRIS is working on getting the dust cleaned off and will enter the practice studio starting this weekend. A few new tunes are being worked on so be prepared for IRIS' usual high energy rock show.

IRIS salutes our real heros on Memorial day
Iris would like to salute our armed services - past and present. In these modern times many of us take freedom for granted. Please join Iris as we remember and honor those who served in the armed forces and gave their lives so we can enjoy the freedom we experience today.

Hi everyone, We wanted to take a moment and say we're all still alive and well. Most of you know that Tim is away on military orders. While we did play some commented dates with Duke "Van Halen" Martinez he too was called to duty. Leaving IRIS with no singer.
Not to worry the rest of the guys have been working hard in the "behind the scenes" area.
Jim, Arnie, and JP submitted the song "Detroit Rock City" to a Kiss Tribute CD called "Music from the KISSFAQ." It was selected with 22 other songs to be included on a KISS tribute CD. The guys in IRIS are huge fans so it was something that was fun and easy to do.
Once we get more information on a release date we'll post the information on our website. In the meantime keep rockin' and look for the guys out in the club scene. Jim has been spotted in the audience watching bands like Jawbreaker, Drive, and the Fuze.
I know a lot of fans have been asking when IRIS will be back. They're waiting on Tim to return and after some rehearsal you'll be able to see IRIS back and better than ever.
Keep the spirit alive and during this upcoming Memorial Day weekend extend a silent moment to all those service men and woman who have given the ultimate sacrafice to our country.
